Partial surface cleaning

Definition: Partial surface cleaning is a type of cleaning. It is limited to floor surfaces that are negatively affected in appearance due to heavy foot traffic, also with the aim of delaying basic cleaning.

Objective/result: The result varies depending on the type of partial surface cleaning.

Carpet cleaning powder

Definition: Cleaning with carpet cleaning powder is a floor cleaning method. A suitable carpet cleaning powder is sprinkled onto the floor covering and massaged in manually or mechanically using brush products. After the powder has dried, it is thoroughly vacuumed with a powerful dry vacuum cleaner or brush vacuum cleaner.

Aim/result:Limited cleaning success, therefore to be classified as intermediate cleaning. Depending on the state of the art, the surface is as free as possible from adhering dirt that has penetrated the pile, as well as from dust and fluff. It should be noted that this cleaning method is particularly suitable for moisture-sensitive floor coverings.

Dry mop

Definition: Dry mopping is one of the cleaning methods used to clean floors. Dust-binding mopping with microfiber textiles to remove loose fine dirt (dust, fluff) and, to a lesser extent, coarse dirt (balls of paper, paper cups, cigarette butts, etc.) and then collecting the coarse dirt in a container.

Target/result: The surface is free of coarse dirt and fine dirt (dust, fluff). Adhering dirt (drink stains, road grime, heel marks) may still be present on the surface. Please note: The dry mop can only be used on smooth, finely textured and microporous floor coverings, such as linoleum, PVC, floor coverings treated with a suitable care film, sealed wooden floors, polished stone floors, porcelain stoneware, etc.. Only cleaning textiles made of microfiber are suitable.

Dry shampooing

Definition: Dry shampooing is a cleaning method for cleaning floors. It is shampooing with relatively dry foam, see shampooing.

Aim/result: See shampooing. It should be noted that this type of cleaning is used as intermediate cleaning or if the textile flooring is sensitive to moisture due to its nature or installation method. The cleaning success is not as great as with wet shampooing.

Maintenance cleaning

Definition: Maintenance cleaning is a type of cleaning. Maintenance cleaning is repetitive cleaning work at fixed intervals.

Aim/result: Varies depending on the cleaning work to be carried out.

Pre-rinsing

Definition: Pre-rinsing refers to the process of soaking or manually pretreating items to remove soiling or residues before they are cleaned in the dishwasher.

Intermediate cleaning

Definition: Intermediate cleaning is one of the types of cleaning. It is an intensive cleaning with the aim of postponing the basic cleaning as far as possible in order to improve the appearance.

Aim/result: The result varies depending on the type of intermediate cleaning.
