Objective/result: The object/surface is in a freshly cleaned condition. There must be no wipe marks or irregularities.
Polishing
Definition: Polishing is used both as a cleaning method for cleaning floors and as a method for cleaning equipment and furnishings. The term floor polishing is also commonly used for the floor cleaning method. Mechanical treatment with brush products or pads (floor cleaning discs) on untreated floor coverings or floor coverings treated with care products. Polishing is a method of cleaning equipment and furnishings in which the cleaned object is polished with soft cleaning textiles to improve the appearance of the object.
Objective/result: The surface is free of traces of traffic, heel marks and drink stains; the appearance of the care film is uniform; depending on the type of care substances, a special shine is achieved. It should also be noted that slip resistance must not be impaired.
The object is in a good visual condition when the method for cleaning equipment and furnishings is used. There must be no traces of wiping.
Polishing suction cups
Definition: Vacuum polishing is a cleaning method for floor cleaning. Polishing and simultaneous dust removal by dry vacuuming in one operation; floor cleaning machines are equipped with a suction unit for this purpose.
Objective/result: Traffic marks and partially adhering dirt are removed; surface is dust-free. Result as with polishing. As an additional note: The floor cleaning machines are equipped with a suction unit. The slip resistance must not be restricted.
Spot wet mopping
Definition: Spot wet mopping is a method of cleaning floors. In this cleaning method, only a small area of the total surface is wet mopped.
Aim/result: Similar to wet mopping. As only spot cleaning is carried out, the cleaning result - in relation to the total area - is limited. As an additional note, this method is often advantageous in schools where a small area in front of the blackboard in the classroom is wet-wiped more frequently than the entire surface. Similarly, stains or soiling in the area of drinks vending machines can be removed.

Suction
Definition: Vacuum cleaning is one of the cleaning methods used to clean floors. Dry vacuuming of loose or weakly adhering dirt using a vacuum cleaner.
Aim/result: The surface is free of coarse dirt, dust and fluff. Adhering dirt on non-textile coverings and substances that have penetrated the carpet pile on textile coverings (e.g. drink stains, coffee, fruit juice) may still be present on the surface. It should be noted that a good dust removal result can only be expected with textile coverings if powerful vacuum cleaners are used at an appropriate working speed and the entire surface is processed.
Shampooing
Definition: Shampooing is a cleaning method for cleaning floors. The floor covering is cleaned with brushing machines using a suitable shampoo solution; the dirt (foam) is then vacuumed off.
Aim/result: The surface is free from adhering dirt that has penetrated the pile layer (pile), as well as from dust and fluff. Note: Depending on the nature of the foam, a distinction is made between wet and dry shampooing. The agents used should prevent rapid re-soiling.
Shampooing/spray extraction (combination)
Definition: The combination of shampooing / spray extraction is a cleaning method for floor cleaning. Shampooing the floor covering with brushing machines using a suitable shampoo solution. Spray extraction with clear water. Allow the textile flooring to dry, if necessary re-spotting, brushing high-pile carpets.
Aim/result: Compare shampooing, spray extraction.
Special cleaning
Definition: Special cleaning is a type of cleaning. Cleaning services that go beyond the scope of maintenance and intermediate cleaning are usually awarded as individual contracts.
Objective/result: Special cleaning varies depending on the type of individual order and the cleaning work. It should be noted that special cleaning is usually awarded as individual contracts.
Spray extraction
Definition: Spray extraction is one of the cleaning methods used to clean floors. The cleaning solution is sprayed in under pressure (possibly with mechanical support from brushes) and the dirt is simultaneously extracted.
Aim/result: The surface is free of adhering dirt that has penetrated into the pile layers (pile) as well as dust and fluff. Please note that this cleaning method is suitable for basic cleaning due to its good cleaning effect.
