[A]

Replace

Definition: Replacement is part of the methods used to clean equipment and furnishings. One item is exchanged for another.

Objective/result: Object is replaced in accordance with the agreement.

Construction cleaning

Definition: Construction cleaning is a type of cleaning and is identical to the terms used in practice for final construction cleaning and initial cleaning or maintenance. It takes place after the completion of new construction, conversion or renovation work.

Objective/result: Surfaces are free of craftsman's dirt (mortar, plaster, paint splashes, drilling dust, etc.) as well as protective films and labels; the surfaces are also free of dust, wipe marks and streaks.

Equipping

Definition: Restocking is one of the methods used to clean equipment and furnishings. An item (e.g. towel rail, soap dispenser, etc.) is refitted with consumables (e.g. paper towels, soap solution, etc.). It must be contractually agreed between the client and the contractor who will provide the consumables.

Target/result: The item to be loaded is filled with consumables in accordance with the specified date.

Brush vacuuming

Definition: Brush vacuuming is a cleaning method for cleaning floors. Mechanical brushing of the floor covering and dry vacuuming of loose dirt or dirt mechanically adhering to the surface using a brush vacuuming machine.

Target/result: Surface is free of loose coarse dirt, dust and fluff; polar (water-soluble) or non-polar substances (e.g. drink stains, fruit juice, coffee, etc.) embedded in the carpet pile may still be visible on the surface.

Cleaner (spray method)

Definition: Cleaning is a cleaning method for cleaning floors. The cleaning agent is distributed with a hand spray can or by a spray device on a floor cleaning machine selectively on the flooring surface where stubborn stains and worn care films are present; the treated areas are then polished by machine using suitable cleaner pads. The slip resistance must not be restricted.

Objective/result: Surface is free of stubborn stains, rubber heel marks, scratches, sanding marks. Worn areas of the maintenance film have been restored and matched to the rest of the surface; appearance (gloss) is uniform.

[D]

Disinfectant cleaning

Definition: Disinfectant cleaning is a method of cleaning equipment and furnishings. An object is simultaneously cleaned and disinfected with a suitable disinfectant cleaner by wet cleaning or wet scrubbing.

Objective/result: The object/surface is free of firmly adhering soiling, traces of handling, dust and streaks and is in a low-germ condition.

[E]

Empty, dispose of and recycle

Definition: Emptying, disposing of and recycling is a method of cleaning equipment and furnishings. The contents of various containers are emptied and collected separately and then disposed of properly. The separately collected contents of various containers are recycled (e.g. aluminum, glass, paper, etc.).

Goal/result: Container is free of any contents (e.g. also chewing gum and sticky pieces of paper). The waste is professionally separated (e.g. paper, glass, aluminum).

Dust removal/cobwebs

Definition: Dusting and removing cobwebs is a method of cleaning equipment and furnishings. Dust removal from the object either with a dry vacuum cleaner (vacuum cleaner) or with cleaning textiles; cobwebs are removed with a dry vacuum cleaner or broom.

Objective/result: Object/surface is free of dust and cobwebs.
